The white shirt has become a classic wardrobe item for women everywhere.  You can take from the boardroom to the barbecue and look pulled together.  It can also be intimidating to wear as a style solution because it shows “everything”.  This is not a reason to wear white.  Fit and shape have become best friends.  Now you can wear the white shirt and have it come complete with a bodysuit.  How clever!  The key to wearing anything fitted or body conscious is to have it rest on the body as if it’s a second skin.  No shifting, fussing or pulling.  Don’t forget the “right bra” as well.   Spring is right around the corner, don’t forget the white shirt as a must have for the wardrobe.

It’s a new year and we all have our goals and resolutions made as we enter 2011.  Did you know that January is one of the best months to purchase bodywear and intimate apparel?  There are so many after holiday sales and deals.  I encourage my clients to revamp their lingerie drawer, and purchase key items that help a woman feel good getting dressed in the morning.  If getting in shape is important to you, you’re going to love the list below I have assembled.  Here are five key items every woman should own to help you look and feel your best underneath it all:

• Sports Bra (DK 35137)~ Active wear apparel is new, innovative and packed full of technology to help a woman be all she can be for her fitness activity of choice.  A sports bra is a must have item for overall health and wellness.  Even if it’s a brisk walk in the neighborhood between clients working from home or a power yoga session, companies have made it simple for women to find the perfect sports bra solution.  NEVER wear your regular bras as your sports bras.  They will loose elasticity and it leads to that not so special look…sagging.  Keep it separate sister!
• Underwear (Flexees 2177) ~ You should own at least 10 or more pair of underwear.  Styles should range from work basics, to after five solutions.  You can now find companies who are doing three for deals that save you dollars and expand your options because you can mix and match.  One of the number one fit complaints I experienced last year from clients was improper fitting underwear.  Instantly they looked slimmer, trimmer and there clothes fit when they had the right style.

• Camisoles (TC 444) ~ One of my personal favorites.  This one item has revolutionized my clients’ bodies and wardrobe.  You can select either a shapewear style or casual lifestyle solution that can take you from day to evening.
