The category of underwear for women has exploded! Boy shorts, briefs, high cuts, thongs, and more. I am simply amazed at how many pairs of underwear a woman could own if she wanted to have some for a whole month.

You would never get bored, and the color choices are endless. This summer, I am encouraging all my clients to do pretty underwear that is both comfortable and sexy. Is it possible? Absolutely! If you love boy shorts then try stretch lace or cotton. If you like a classic brief or high cut, then micro fiber is going to be your friend for both coolness in hot climates, and a comfortable stretch if you like full coverage in the rear.

Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms, grandmothers and even new moms to be! As we enter into this treasured holiday season, I took a moment to think about what would be the perfect gift for mom in the lingerie department.

This year, I selected the “Lingerie Wardrobe”. I define this as the items that most women would not buy themselves, but secretly have them on their wish list. The luxurious camisole and panties or the cotton candy soft to the touch night shirt….why not all three?

These items are versatile and can help mom go from day to evening. When I worked in retail, women would always mention how they loved the practical items such as cotton underwear or a night shirt when exchanging gifts. You can give mom basic cotton to stretch micro fiber. Have a wonderful day!

The first glimpse of this delicate camisole and you fall madly head over heels. The cotton industry has a commercial called the touch, the feel of cotton, the fabric of our lives. This is true statement plus some! I used to make a joke with my clients, hey meet my man Hanro. They would laugh but then they came back and said that Hanro left me for them. They were hooked. We selected the Biarritz Tank this month because of its exquisite lace detail that looks like ruffles ( a hot trend) and the simplicity of the white. It can be worn with navy, black, denim, pink…you get the idea.

They key to this fabulous frolic is a contour bra that fits. A push up bra or something with lace will take away from the feminine details. A sleeveless oxford shirt open with the camisole peeking out would be sensational. I could even see taking the big belt and wrapping it around the waist with a pair of shorts. Lingerie – Lovely La Perla

I am a cotton girl when it comes to sleepwear and weekend wear. I came across La Perla Studio Short Sleeve T-Shirt 2798. This is perfect for travel or leisure. A supple cotton t-shirt made by the iconic La Perla. Of course, you would want to compliment a fabulous t-shirt like this with a comfy bra or contour bra. I found one in their collection that was a perfect match. On the days I would want to be comfort girl but have some lift, I would wear the Souple push up bra style 900889. The final touch to my ensemble would be the bottom half. I discovered the Simply Short Brief Style 2832. I am now totally chic and complete. Furthermore, my ensemble goes from day to evening as I can utilize it for sleepwear. Now it’s time for you to create your three easy pieces. Cotton sexy is super chic for fall.
